God is Recruiting

uncle-samGod is building an army. He is seeking 144,000 warriors. The requirements for this position are a humble and teachable spirit and willingness to lead and be led. The duties of this army will include:

“They shall mount up on wings like Eagles. ” (Isaiah 40:31) “They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks. Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path.  And when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.”

“The Lord will utter His voice before His army,” so they must be willing to “obey the voice of the Lord their God” (Deut. 27:10). In their mind’s eye they hold before them the Garden of Eden. But behind them the land will lay waste like a desolate wilderness because God’s message of salvation will not pass that way again. (Amos 8:1-3) And there is an urgency to their work because they will not have time to reach every person before the Son of man comes. (Matt. 10:23)

They will be taught precept upon precept and line upon line, and they will all be taught by God. (Isaiah 28:10-13; John 6:45; Isaiah 54:13) Boot camp will include: being sealed in devotion to God, abstaining from Spiritual adultery, becoming cleansed of false doctrine, settling into the truth and giving up cherished sin. It may also require healthy dietary changes and possibly other forms of self denial. (Dan.  1:8-20) But all this will be outweighed by the great retirement package which consists of eternal joy and life.

Gear will consist of state-of-the-art armor, the living Word and advanced weaponry, including the highly acclaimed sword of the Spirit, as well as a promised resurrection attire. (Ephesians 6:10-18; 1 John 3:2)

Who is the great Commander? “He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth of the evil.”

If this sounds like the right fit for you, apply today.  To apply, “says the LORD, turn to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God.”

Today we stand on the very threshold of the Bible prophecy found in Revelation 7:1-4. The 4 winds of Heaven are about to blow in a new Beast from the book of Daniel. (see Dan.  7:2-3) Then “Kingdom will rise against kingdom” as foretold by Jesus. (Matt. 24:7) At this time, God is restraining these winds from blowing until He has numbered His army and both He and they are prepared to enter into the final battle over the Kingdom. A note about barley, Spring 2019: The Biblical New Year for 2019 was on Monday May 6.

On April 17, 2019 the barley was ripening, some was still in flower and some was still grass.

But on Thursday May 23, 3 days before the wave sheaf, the heads were full and the field was almost ready for the harvest.

The Bible tell us the month begins later than you think. Find out why.
